Junior Ramsey, age 77, of Cosby, died, March 23, 2005 at Takoma Hospital in Greeneville, TN.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.
He retired from Quakers in 1986 after 18 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Costner Ramsey.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Young Ramsey of Cosby; his children, Danny Ramsey and wife Daisy, Dennis Ramsey and wife Deborah, and Bobby Ramsey all of Cosby; sisters, Irene Jenkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Ina Knight of Pekin, IL; brother, Clyde Ramsey of Madisonville, TN; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2005 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Fred Cagle officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral services.
