Mr. Henry Haskell Williams, 81, of Grassy Fork, passed away Monday morning, February 6, 2006, at Newport Health and Rehabilitation. He attended New Prospect Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Hattie Williams; stepson, Glenn Ray Ford; sisters, Julie Ellen Mathis, Evelyn Erby, Georgia Coggins, and Myrtle Ford; brothers, Joe Williams, Pettibone Williams, and Abe Williams. Survivors include his stepchildren, Martin Lewis Ford, of Hartford; Louise McGaha, of Knoxville; and Carolyn Sue Ford, of Hartford; special daughter, Janie Stokely, of Newport; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Willa Dean Ford, of New Jersey. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews including special nephews, Lee Roy, Kyle and Anthony Hill. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Willis and Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Rathbone-Frisbee Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy.
