WHITE, BURL KEEBLE - age 90 of Knoxville and Lenoir City, son of the late J. Walt and Nora Keeble White, died Thursday September 15, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Concord. Burl was an engineer who retired from K-25 Union Carbide with over 35 years service. He was an Army Air-Corps Veteran of WWII. Burl was preceded in death by sister, Ruth White Maples. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 64 years, Cleo Treece White; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Jose White of Knoxville, Charles "Chuck" and Donna White of Greenback; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Les Wheat of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Casey White and wife Corrie, Jackie Diaz and husband, David, Megan Wheat, Kurtis Wheat, Kayla White; great-grandchildren, Sara Brielle Diaz, Faith Nicole Diaz, Skylar James Schubert; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Millie and Calvin Wardell; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Concord with Rev. Steve Peek officiating. The family request memorials may be made to: Pre-School Playground Fund, First Baptist Church, Concord, 11704 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37934.
