Sise, Walter Anderson –age 83, born February 21, 1922, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2005. He was a member of South Knoxville Church of God. Mr. Sise fought in the Pacific Theater with the 4th Marine Division in World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Essie Lawson Sise; sisters, Alma Clabo, Lola Jett and Ella Sams; brothers, Roy, Buster, Robert and George.
Survivors
Survivors include wife of 58 years, Betty Woliver Sise; daughter, Deborah (Toby) Morelock; sons, Joe (Vicki) Sise, Andy (Debbie) Sise, Terry (Lori) Sise; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda (Bob) Hessenbuger and Leona Watson; brother, Virgil (Shirley) Sise; very special friends, Bob and Carlene Roach; and special pet, Daisey.
Service
Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday for 11 AM graveside services, Rev. Robert Branch officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Full military honors will be provided by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
