MORTON, SAMUELLA McTEER - age 80 of County Club Road LaFollette passed away Thursday morning, September 21, 2000 at the LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of Demory Baptist Church and the Cumberland Mountain Eastern Star Chapter 137. Samuella had retired from the LaFollette Medical Center where she was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Morton; parents, S.H. and Ada Trotter McTeer. She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Calvin & Christine Morton and Edward & Vijaya Morton all of LaFollette; grandchildren, Calvin Odell Morton, Marsha Elkins, Suzannne O'Rourke, April Morton, Emily Shoun and Kathy Wolfe; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Georgia Tittsworth of Blount County, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday September 23, 2000 at Demory Baptist Church with Rev. Conley Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Pond Cemetery.
