Mr. Rodney Craig Shults, age 44, of Cosby, died Sunday, December 17, at his home.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patton and Vicie Shults, and Gather and Gladys Williams.
He is survived by his son, Tyler Craig Shults, of Florida; sister, Vicky Cochran, of Knoxville; mother, Christine Whaley, of Newport; father and stepmother, Johnny and Thelma Shults, of Cosby; and special friend, Jeff Sage, of Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral was held Monday, December 18, at 8 p.m. at Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Frank Bell officiating.
Family and friends met at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday morning, December 19, for an 11 a.m. burial in the Marty Shults Cemetery.
Family received friends Monday, December 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
Costner-Maloy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
