LEDFORD, ROSA BARNES - age 84, of Cosby, passed away Sunday morning, December 3, 2000, at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Sevierville. She was preceded in death by husband, Emmett Ledford and children, Cid, Johnny, Jim, Claude "Red" and Grady Ledford; grandchildren, Cindy Ann Grasty, James "Sniffy" Ledford and Angel Ledford.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Wilde of Newport, Sue Ledford of Cosby; sons, Bud Ledford and wife, Jean, Dorsey Ledford and wife, Polly, Lonnie Ledford and wife, Ernestine, Ricky "Tuffy" Ledford and wife, Lisa, all of Cosby; grandchildren, Gary Ledford, Darrell "Tinker' Ledford, Nathan Wilde, Matthew Wilde and Kristy Wilde, Jamie "Boots" Ledford, Kenny Ledford, Ricky Brown and Rhonda Whitehead; numerous great-grandchildren and special friends, Ruby Shults of Cosby and Pauline Valentine of Newport. The Pallbearers will be Vondie Costner, Ray "Dago" Webb, Stuart Shults, Jerry Wilde, Joy McGaha and Danny McGaha. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 5 at 1:00 p.m. at The Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Surber officiating. Interment will be at Fowler's Cemetery. The family received friends Monday night from 7-9 p.m. at The Brown Funeral Home.

Rosa Barnes Ledford, 84, passed away Sunday morning at Fort Sanders Medical Center, in Sevierville.
