Edith Ball, 69, Dandridge, passed away Friday at the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.
Edith was a member of the Swannsylvania Baptist Church.
She had been employed by Taste Bud Cafe.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Rutha and Charles Brown.
She is survived by a son, Charles N. Ball of Dandridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Oscar Roberts of Greeneville, Ruby and James Mills of Dandridge, Beulah Brown and Bill Bowers of Newport, and Dorothy Brown Roberts of Asheville, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Viola Brown of Cosby and Buck and Vontella Brown of Newport; grandchild, Amy Lynn Ball of Dandridge; special friend, Patty Steel of Dandridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating.
The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
The graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ray?s Chapel Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home was in charge.
