- The will of Ann McTeer of Blount County, written 2 June 1858, probated 5
February 1866, bequeathed to A. B. McTeer, $100, rifle gun, large red chest; to
James A. McTeer, $100, natural wood chest; to two newphews, Hiram and Hugh
Bogle, the home place, grist mill with tools and fixtures, land adjoining Adam
Graves, livestock; to sister Mary McTeer (widow of William) $30, bed and
furniture chest "owned by my mother"; to Mary Sophia Bogle, bed and furniture,
small bureau, "second size Bible", to niece Lavinia Bogle, $20, "cubbord with
furniture usually kept in it", large bureau, bookcase, clock, looking glass,
large Family Bible, large chest formerly my brother Andrew's; to nephew William
G. Bogle, $100; to niece Elizabeth Henderson, $100; to William Murrin Sr., bed
and clothing for same. Theremaining personal property to be divided by Lavinia
Bogle and my sister Mary McTeer; remaining moneys to go to Hugh, William G., and
Hiram Bogle, they to be Executors. Witnesses: William Murrin, Michael Counts,
Benjamin Brown.
