Mrs. L.C. Gobble, age 66 years, Route 4, died at 9 PM Thursday, August 22, 1935.
Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 PM Saturday, August 24. Rev. W.E.O. Robertson and Rev. R.M. Huff officiating. Interment was in the McMahan Chapel cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, David Gobble of Knoxville, Alonzo Gobble of Hamilton, Ohio, and Sam C. Gobble, route 4; six daughters, Mrs. Ellen Duggan, Knoxville, Mrs. Mattie Ward, Mrs. Grace Norman, Mrs. Eunice Meeks, and Mrs. Bertha Hypes all of Hamilton, Ohio, and Miss Mae Gobble, route 4; three sisters, Mrs. Dana Large, Mrs. Alice Floyd, and Mrs. Laura Tyson, route 4; and three brothers, Lewis Stinnett of Knoxville, and Arthur and Creed Stinnett of route 4.
Pall bearers: Billie Duggan, Luther Ward, Elmer Gobble, Hubert Gobble, Glen Meeks, Robert Hypes.
Flower bearers: Helen Duggan, Louise Duggan, Ruth Gobble, Hazel Gobble, Dorothy Norman, Wanda Hutchinson.
