Howard Hatcher, age 79, of Walland, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Hatcher; and sister, Pearl Neal. Survivors include his son, David Hatcher of Maryville; grandchildren, David Howard Hatcher, Michelle Lawson, Raymond Hatcher, and Jeffery Ward; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Billie (Sam) Suttles of Maryville; brother-in-law, Jack (Kathy) King of Seymour. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Clarence Dotson, officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Piney Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Dotson Funeral Home, 4838 Wildwood Road, Wildwood. (865-984-5959)
