LOVEDAY, DALLAS CARL - age 82 of Knoxville passed away Friday, November 3, 2006 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Long time member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Loveday was also a retired supervisor from American Clothing/John H. Daniel Company. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Josie Loveday; sisters, Audra Bounds, Alma Merritt, Alene Russell; brother, Doyle Loveday. Survived by wife, Wanda (Kitts) Loveday; son Kenneth (Kenny) Loveday and fiancé Stacey Lowery of Knoxville; daughters, Carlene Braswell and husband Sam of Corryton, Jan Loveday and husband, Don Good of Williamsburg, KY; brother, Jess Loveday of Kodak; sisters, Ada Farmer and husband Jim of Knoxville, Annette Bowling and husband John of Knoxville, and Arlzie White and husband Jim of Strawberry Plains; grandchildren, Jessi and Jonathan Webster, Kendra Miller and husband Brad, and Kevin Elliott and wife Allyson, Andrea Garner and husband Glenn, Hannah Stuart and husband Brian, and Jason Good; and 5 great-grandchildren. Special appreciation to long-term caregivers Oma Bailey and Kim Hellard, and the wonderful staff of St. Mary's Hospice. Funeral services will be 5 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2006 in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Martin officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Monday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11 AM interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM on Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
