William Andrew "Bill" Wade, 84, of Seymour, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001.He was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour, Sevier Lodge No. 334 F&AM for more than 50 years, and a Scottish Rite 32 Degree Mason.He retired from Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) with 41 years of service and was a member of the 25-Year Club. He was a lifelong active Republican and a former member of the Sevier County Election Commission.Survivors include his wife, Agnes Ailey Wade; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Fulwood; daughter, Linda S. Wade; granddaughter, Tracy Rigell Human; and grandson, Ethan Fulwood.The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Highland South Funeral Home on Chapman Highway. Sevier Lodge will hold Masonic services at 7 p.m. Funeral service will follow with the Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating.Family and friends will meet at Knob Creek Cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Friday for a 10 a.m. graveside service.

WADE, WILLIAM ANDREW (BILL) - age 84, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2001. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour, a member of Sevier Lodge No. 334 F&AM, for 50 plus years and a Scottish Rite 32 degree Mason. Retired from Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) with 41 years of service and a member of the 25 Year Club. He was an active Republican all his life and a former member of the Sevier County Election Commission.
Survivors: wife, Agnes Ailey Wade; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Fulwood; daughter, Linda S. Wade; granddaughter, Tracy Rigell Human; grandson, Ethan Fulwood. Mr. Wade is at Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy., where the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday. Masonic Services by Sevier Lodge at 7 p.m. with funeral service to follow, Rev. W. A. Galyon officiating. Family and friends will meet at Knob Creek Cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Friday for a 10 a.m. graveside service. Honorary Pallbearers: Victor Boyd Rogers, Enzlie Ogle, Ray Parton, Bert Loposser, Hal Ailey and Norman Ailey. Arrangements by Highland South Funeral Home, 573-7300.
