She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and a member of the order of Eastern Star # 154, Woodmen of the World and Kerbela Temple Ladies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce Ward and Louise Ward Head, brother-in-law, Roy Whaley. Survivors include her husband, James Billy Whaley of Sevierville; Children and their spouses; Tommy Whaley of Sevierville; Judy and Rick Hollifield of Dandridge; Brenda and Randy Henry of Knoxville; Beckie and John Cogdill of Sevierville; Grandchildren, James and Mel Laney, Billy Rhines, Mitchell and Sarah Rhines, Trent and Rebekah Peerman and Laicee and Anderson Hatfield,Brandon Cogdill, Loretta and Ricky Henry, Great grandchildren, Andrea and Haley Rhines; William Rhines and Searya Peerman. Brother, Bruce Ward, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Seymour; Sister, Anna Whaley of Seymour. Special cousin, Edna Johnson. Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Rawlings Funeral Home. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 in Shiloh Cemetery.
