WHITED , CHARLOTTE ROSE WILKINSON age 92 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday October 13, 2011 at home surrounded by family. She was of the Methodist faith. Living in the same community for over 70 years, Rose was a constant fixture, known as a wonderful neighbor and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Josephine Clabo Huskey; first husband W.H. Wilkinson; second husband Melvin Whited ; son Danny Whited ; daughter-in-law, Betty Wilkinson, and son-in-law, Robert Cox. Rose is survived by her loving family: sons and daughters-in-law, Dewey Wilkinson, William H. and Sharon Wilkinson, Ray and Nell Whited , Gene and Dee Whited ; daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Ed Butler, Sue and Jack McReynolds, Lou and Skip Dailey, Linda and Doug Stancell, Nancy Cox, Phyllis Wilkinson, Pat and Mel Schill, Sue and Virgil Holverson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Precious Davis, for her loving care of Mama. Friends and family will gather 2pm Sunday October 16 at Edgewood Cemetery for a graveside service honoring Rose 's life with Rev. Clay Mulford officiating. Memorial donations in Rose 's name may be made to Aymedsis Hospice 1420 Dutch Valley Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Saturday October 15 at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. Online condolences at www.rosemortuary.com.
