KELLY, JAMES WESLEY (BUD) - age 76 of Knoxville passed away Saturday July 12, 2008 peacefully at home. He professed Jesus as his Lord. He retired from Roadway and was a U.S. Marine Korean War Veteran where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was well known for his love of fishing, He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Walker Kelly, parents Clifford and Stella Kelly, sisters Helen Kelly and Carol Kelly McCarter, brother Kenneth Kelly. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Stephen Lorino and Nurse Patty, St Mary's Hospice and Home Health, and his friends Bob Cannon and Cleve Loy. He is survived by his children Vicki McCloud, Mike Kelly, and Pat Kelly; grandchildren Mendy McCloud, Heather McCloud, (also his devoted caregiver) Kendell Kelly, and Lindsey Savage; great granddaughters Hannah McCloud, Elle Kitts, and Alexis Savage; sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Travis Parker; brother and sister-in-law Clyde and Bobi Kelly; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:00 P.M. Tuesday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Van Sanks officiating. Family and friends will meet at West Adair entrance to Lynnhurst Cemetery at 11:45 A.M. Wednesday for graveside services at 12:00 Noon with full military honors conducted by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6-7:00 P.M.
