Charlie Goins, 86, of Maryville, formerly of LaFollette, died Sunday at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in LaFollette.
Funeral services were Monday evening with the Revs. Phillip Marshall and Clifford Debuty officiating. Burial was Tuesday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Alcoa Highway.
Survivors include three sons, Ovid and William Goins of Louisville and Kenneth Goins of Fortson, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Arlene Hubbard of Louisville and Mrs. Aleda Lambert of Columbus, Ga.; a brother, Edd Goins of LaFollette; a sister, Mrs. Sally McNeeley of LaFollette; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
