She was born January 7, 1935 to Rexford and Ola Rachael (Tate) Grigsby. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1958. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Barner , Jr; both parents, three brothers; Rexford (Felix) Grigsby, Royce Grigsby, and Pawnee Grigsby; and two children. She is survived by her nine children: Sandy and Rick Hilton of Hot Springs, Mark and Charolette Barner of Tuckerman, Micheal Barner of Tuckerman, Charles (Chuck) Barner of Tuckerman, Greg Barner of Tuckerman, David Barner of Hot Springs, Anna and Brian Hisek of Hot Springs, Mendy Tubbs of Melbourne, and Jeremy and Karman Barner of Franklin; twenty one grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; one brother Earl Dean Grigsby of New Caney, TX; one sister Vina Mae Carpenter of Newport; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
