James "Jim" Baker Moore, age 84 of Gatlinburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2016 August 12, 2016 at his home.
He was a member of Banner Baptist Church. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War on the USS Kearsarge. He loved the outdoors and being in nature, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He worked for many years as a house painter in the Gatlinburg community.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Baker Moore; mother, Rutha Ogle Moore; son, James Michael Moore; brother, Dewey E. Moore; sisters, Bernice Moore Cooper and Lona F. Moore.

Brother: Frank M. Moore;
Daughters: Donna Kaye Moore Smith
Grandchildren: Amanda Sorah and Aaron Sorah;
Great Grandchildren: Cole Coward and Jada Brown;
Niece: Evelyn Luttrell and husband Randy;
Great Niece: Sabrina Hutchens;
Nephew: David R. Cooper and wife Phyllis;
Special friends: Oren Bradley and Kathy Jean Self;
