Thomas William (Tommy) Cagle age 67 of Lenoir City passed away March 10, 2015 at his home.
Tommy was a 1965 graduate of LCHS. He retired from Ford Motor Company (Atlanta Assembly Plant) after 31 years. He worked 11 years as a part time truck driver for Transport Service. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved going to car shows. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends, Nascar, golf and any kind of woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Edith (Overton) Cagle.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; brothers Johnny (Bunny) Cagle of Talbott, TN, Eugene Cagle of Kearney, MO, Marvin Cagle of Lexington, KY; 2 step daughters, MeLinda (David) Harris and Karen (Lawrence) Ivey; 10 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nephews and 1 niece, 5 great nephews and 6 great nieces.
Special thanks to Dr. Ibach of Thompson Cancer Survival Center West Office and staff for their care and Avalon Hospice who treated us with so much care, love and concern.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mark Cagle and Rev. Eddie Chasteen officiating. Family and friends will gather at Lakeview Cemetery on Saturday, March 14th at 3:00 p.m. for graveside services and interment. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
