Kristy Lynn Brumbaugh Webb, age 42, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday March 8, 2016. Kristy was born in Perry, GA. She graduated from Port St. Joe High in Fla in 1992, afterwards she proudly served in the United States Navy from 1992 to 1994. She was stationed in Guam where she met the love of her life Scott Webb, they were married November 4, 1993, from Guam Kristy and Scott came home to Sevier County in 1995, with their son Bryan. In 2000 their family became complete with the birth of their daughter, Kelly. Kristy was employed by Sevier County Utility District for the past 13 years. Kristy dearly loved her families and they dearly loved her. She had many families beyond her own, work, drag racing, friends and her church family at Gum Stand Baptist Church.
Kristy was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Lillian Marshall; grandmothers, Suzanne Linehouse and Henrietta Brumbaugh; and Nephew, Nathan Lane Webb.
Survived by Husband of 22 years, Travis "Scott" Webb; Son, Bryan Christian Webb; Daughter, Kelly Renea Webb; Mother, Debra Carrasco (Gilbert);
Father, Christofer Brumbaugh (Shiela), Port St. Joe, Fla; Brother, Eric Brumbaugh, Napa Valley, CA; Sisters, Tonya and Thomas Argo, Shreveport, LA and, Evan Brumbaugh, Port St. Joe, FL; Grandfather, Gene Brumbaugh, Hiawassee, GA; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Kay Webb; Brother-in-Law, Barry and April Webb; Nephews, Zach Caylor, Tristen Webb and Christopher Argo; and Best Friend, Brandy Nyberg, Wartburg, TN.
The family would like to thank Thompson Cancer Center for their efforts in trying to identify and treat this rare cancer; it is our hope that research continue so that this cancer can be identified and treatment be found to help other families in the future.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, March 12th at Gum Stand Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge, TN in Kristy's honor, with Rev. Ronnie Reagan officiating. The family will received friends following the memorial service. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
