Mae Belle (Thomas) Stoffle, age 93, of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was a member of Oak City Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin E. Stoffle, Sr.; son, James Nelson Stoffle; granddaughter, Tonya Renee Stoffle; parents, Rev. George Nelson and Nancy Elvira (Whaley) Thomas; brother, Rev. James Eli Thomas; sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Arlie Whaley; and son-in-law, Danny Ownby.
She is survived by:
Sons: Melvin E. Stoffle, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and Jerry Stoffle, Sr. and wife Sharon
Daughter: Johnnie Whitford and husband Jimmy of Ernul, NC
Daughters-in-law: Linda Stoffle and Joyce Stoffle
