Burl Robert Lee, 86, Francis, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday in an Ada hospital following an illness of 18 months. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Scott Jones in the Criswell chapel at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery.
Mr. Lee, a retired farmer and rancher was born in Parker County, Tex., March 22, 1881, son of John and Liza Ledbetter Lee. He attended Norman schools and moved to Francis from Chickasha in 1941. He and Annie Belle Ogle were married in Norman Feb. 24, 1905.
He came to Chickasha in 1889 from Parker County, Tex., with his parents and resided there until 1926 when he moved to Grandfield, Okla. He moved back to Chickasha in 1936 and lived there until moving to Francis.
Survivors are his wife, Annie Bell Lee; three daughters, Mrs. Hiram Jones, Gasquet, Calif.. Mrs. Bernard Holm, El Cerrito, Calif., and Mrs. Alma Stallworth, Francis; two sons, Dean Lee, Francis, Jean Lee, Allen; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
