JACKSBORO - Thelma Teague Whaley , a homemaker, died Saturday at her Jacksboro home. She was 79.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Live Oak Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Woods Cemetery.
Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Whaley was born in Barton Chapel, Jack County.She was the wife of William Clark Whaley , who died in January.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the American Cancer Society or the Independent Muscular Dystrophy, researchers Dr. Alan Whaley and Lance Whaley , Ph.D., 502 N. Third, Jacksboro 76458.
Survivors: Son, Blaine Whaley of Perrin; brother, Olan Teague of Jacksboro; sister, Vera Nash of Jacksboro; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
