Pauline W. Sharp Retired restaurant owner
Pauline W. Sharp , 84, of Clinton, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Sharp was the retired owner of the former Sharp 's Cafe in Clinton.
She was born in Anderson County on Feb. 12, 1915, the daughter of Boyd and Bertie Dugger Webber. She was the widow of Edgar Sharp .
Mrs. Sharp is survived by two daughters, Jean Wiser of Dallas, Texas, and Patsy Taylor and her husband, J.R. Taylor, of Clinton; her sister, Mary Webber of Oregon; and 13 grandchildren, Billy Bond, Tim Bond, Eddie Sharp , Tresa Smith, Scottie Sharp , Angie Wiser, Paula Wiser, Bubby Wiser, Robert Wiser, Becky Smith, Kathy McGhee, Karen Irby and Darrell McGhee.
She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Many of the residents of Clinton Towers were considered her close friends, her family said.
In addition to her husband and her parents, two children, Wanda Faye Bond and William Sandy Sharp , and a grandson, Terry McGhee, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Archie Corder officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
