LUSK , MR. ROBERT BURRELL - age 82, of South Knox County, went to be with Jesus on Monday, June 21, 1999, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church, serving as a deacon for many years, the Sevier Masonic Lodge #334, the Scottish Rite, and a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII. Mr. Lusk retired from the University of Tennessee Police Force where he attained the rank of captain. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Juanita Blazier Lusk ; daughters, Wanda Julian and husband, Mayford, and Connie Ogle; grandsons, Jay and Andy Garrison and Justin Ogle; granddaughters, Crystal Julian and Donna Johnson; brother, Mack Lusk ; special friend, David Rolen; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Valley Grove Baptist Church on Old Sevierville Pike. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Harry Mynatt officiating. Family and friends will gather at graveside Thursday, June 24, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Highland South Cemetery for the interment service with the deacons and the men of Adult IV Sunday school class of Valley Grove Baptist Church, and brothers of his Masonic Lodge serving as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Valley Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center, 9000 Old Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. Our beloved husband, father and papaw, is now singing with the Heavenly Choir. Arrangements by Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy. 573-7300.
