Pauline O. Born April 15, 1900, in Indian Territory. Died October 6, 1995, in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. Pauline was one of 10 children born to Cora and W.B. Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Crystal and Ivy; brothers Clarence, Ted, and Tom; son-in-law, Joseph K. Brand. In 1915 she married William Keyes and had one daughter, Mozelle Kathryn Keyes. During WW II she owned and operated the concession in the bus depot at Chickasha, OK. After the war she moved to Oklahoma City and married Wallace A. Shields in 1945. She worked for many years at Sears, Roebuck, and Co., and retired from there in 1965. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sorosis Club, a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church an d the Beacon Sunday School Class. She is survived by one daughter, Mozelle Brand, of Oklahoma City; a granddaughter, Paula Wolfe and husband Larry of Charlotte, N.C.; another granddaughter, Kathy Moore and husband Tim of Stroud; great-grandsons Justin an d Kevin Wolfe of Charlotte, Adam Moore of Stroud; great-granddaughter Jenny Moore of Stroud; one sister Helen Brothers of Oklahoma City; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the Watchorn Chapel of St. Luke's on Monday, October 9, at 10:3 0, with Rev. Joseph Shackford officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery located on the Northwest Highway. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County at 4334 Northwest Expressway, Suite 106, Oklahoma City, OK 73116, or a charity of your choice.
