BLAIR , HERMAN D. C. - age 78, of Maryville, passed away Monday afternoon, February 24, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during World War II. Member of the Disabled American Veterans. Preceded in death by father, James "Jim" Blair mother, Ina Daisy Downey Blair brothers, Ray, Fred, Rex, Claude Blair sisters, Annabelle Russell, Louise Spradlin, and infant, Maxie Blair . Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Brenda Blair of Hiram, Ga., Jerry and Nancy Blair of Greenback, Charles and Laura Ann Blair of Maryville grandchildren, Morgan Blair , Dennis Blair , Josh Blair , Chris Blair , Randy Blair , Kay Butler, Richie Blair , Kendra Blair , and Logan Blair four great-grandchildren former wife and friend, Dorothy Blair of Maryville, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Miller Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2003, and proceed to Mt. View Church of Christ Cemetery, (Christian) for graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Barry Woods and Rev. Ronnie Blair officiating. Friends may call at their convenience from 8:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and again from 8:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
