NEW JERSEY--Helen R. Leonetti (Hall), 72, of Millville, died Tuesday afternoon, October 24, 2006, at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland following an extended illness. The wife of the late Joseph L. Leonetti, who died in 2004, they were married for more than 44 years. Born in Newport, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Frank Hall and the late Willie Mae Hall (Hurst). Following school, she moved to Bridgeton to work for M.C. Schrank. Shortly thereafter, she married Joseph and also went into business with him. Mrs. Leonetti was a co-owner of the Country Palace in Buena. She and her husband operated the bar for more than 22 years before they retired together in August of 2003. She was a resident of Cumberland County for more than 50 years. Mrs. Leonetti enjoyed going to the casinos and loved to go shopping. She will be remembered as a kind and sweet person who could fix almost anything that needed repair. She is survived by four brothers, Kenneth Hall, Billy Joe Hall and his wife Lena Mae, Raymond Hall and his wife Ann, and William B. Hall and his wife Mary Ann, all of Newport, Tenn.; two sisters, Inez Hall and Mildred Hale, both of Newport, Tenn.; three brothers-in-law, Charles Leonetti, of Vineland, N.J.; Robert Leonetti and his wife Carol, of Gibbstown; and Samuel Leonetti and his wife Janice, of Hammonton; five sisters-in-law, Frances Holloway and her husband Philip, of Galloway, N.J.; Agnes Murray, of Philadelphia; Jean Kuper and her husband Anthony, of Millville, N.J.; Gloria Micheletti and her Betty Zukovsky, both of Vineland; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, October 28, at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton. The interment was in Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends were received at the funeral home between 9:30 and 11 a.m. prior to services.
