RHINES , CHARLES WILLIAM, SR. (PAPAW CHARLIE) - age 62, of Knoxville, passed away Monday September 25, 2000, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. A longtime employee of Travis Meat Co., member of Anderson Ave. Church of God and attended Three Points Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Geneva Rines, and brother, Jerry Rines. Survivors: wife, Judy Rhines ; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Missy Rhines , Greg and Kelly Rhines ; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and David Wilson, Sissy and David Ogle, and Candy Rhines ; special granddaughter, Kelsi Rhines ; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Judy Rines, James and Joanne Rines; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Mingie, Sue and Jay Maples, Annand James Shown and a host of devoted nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Reuben Wilson and Rev. Andrew Bailey, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery 9:45 a.m. Thursday for interment at 10 a.m. Honorary pallbearers: grandsons and nephews. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
