He is survived by his son, Bobby Byrd; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Vicky Byrd all of Cosby; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Robert Whitted, of Newport; sisters, Pearl Shepherd of White Pine, Annette Underwood of Loudon; grandchildren, Christy Dawn Butler, Christopher Byrd, Alex Byrd, Robby Whitted, Bryan Whitted and Emily Whitted. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2016 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Gorrell officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
