JULIAN , L. D. age 85, of South Knoxville, passes away on August 13, 2010 in the home of his son. He was the son, of the late Ella Sharp and Floyd C. Julian , of Knoxville. L . D ., was retired from Royal Crown Bottling Company with 37 years, of service. After his retirement he worked alongside his son and best friend as owners, of the Convenient Foodmart, in Colonial Village. Preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, of 62 years, Edith Mae Julian ; and brothers, Earl Julian , Bobby Julian , Carroll Julian and Carmen Julian . Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Suzanne; and his granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth; siblings, Billie (Wayne) James, of Vermillion, South Dakota, JoElla (Thurston) Cooke, of Soddy Daisy, Pauline (Stan) Babb, of Rossville, Tommy Julian , of Knoxville, Darrell (Peggy), of Dandridge. A special thank you goes out to best friend, Betty Clark and the entire Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, for the love and support not only in this hard time but over the past 5 years. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lake Forest Presbyterian Church to be designated to the South Knoxville Branch of the Fish Pantry, c/o Jason Haas, 714 East Lake Forest Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010, in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway with Rev. Jason Haas officiating. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
