He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dottsie Lewis; brother, Jessie Ray Lewis; and sister, Louise Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Lewis, of Newport; sons, Billy Lewis Jr., of Oneida, Tenn., and Garry Ray Lewis, of Bybee; brother, Charles Lewis, of Newport; sister, Audrey Myers, of Newport; grandchildren, Matthew, Tiffany, Courtney, and Wesley Lewis, of Bybee; also several nieces, nephews, and church family; special thanks to the staff of Takoma Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of Nazarene, 635 2nd Street, Newport, TN 37821. Funeral services were held 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2005, at Manes Funeral Home, with Rick Carr and Jimmy Myers officiating. Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
