SADLER , ROBERT A. - age 78, a lifetime resident of Knoxville, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, October 27, 2003, after a brief illness. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a graduate of U.T. and a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi. Mr. Sadler retired from K.U.B. as engineering supervisor of the Substation Design Section of the Electrical Engineering Department. He was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. Survivors: loving wife of 47 wonderful years, Beryl Fox Sadler of Knoxville sister, Lois Cole of Austin, Texas nephews, Robert Cole of Austin, Texas, William Martin of Hobe Sound, Fla. numerous other nieces and nephews sisters-in-law, Ruby Phillips of Sevierville, Faye Sutton of Alcoa. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Chapel with Rev. Robert H. Bean officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers will be nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4708 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37909. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway. Mr. Sadler 's guest book also available at www.stevensmortuaryinc.com
