Pryor Dodgen, age 83 of Sevierville, died Sunday, December 2, 2001 at Fort Sanders-Sevier Medical Center. He was born in the Sugarlands on February 10, 1918.
He was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of world War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mozell Dodgen; parents, Charlie and Flora Whaley Dodgen; sister, Nadine Dodgen; and brother, Jerry Dodgen.

Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Carr and Rev. D.A. Cole officiating. Interment 10 AM Wednesday in Zion Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Grove Baptist Church--% Debbie Quilliams—2380 King Hollow Road—Gatlinburg, Tennessee 37738 to help in the construction of a handicap entrance to the church.
