(August 16, 1964 - May 19, 2012) David L. Holt, age 47, of Bybee, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Newport Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Delaie Wise, Jake and Arri Holt; and special cousin Keith Wise. He is survived by his fiancée, Patsy Dyke, Bybee; sons, Christopher Holt of California, Cody Holt of Sevierville daughter, Tara Holt and son-in-law, Eddie Buckner of Parrottsville; daughter Tabitha Holt and fiancé Cameron Shelton of Sevierville; parents, Connie and Beulah Holt of Bybee; brothers, Terry Holt of Bybee and fiancée Fredia Elkins, Freddy Holt and wife Dolly of Newport; sisters Cook Berry and husband Sam of White Pine, Lesa Walker and husband Ronny of Bybee; grandson, Patrick Buckner of Parrottsville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; aunt, uncles, other family and special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Liberty Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Green officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made toward funeral expenses.
