Wilfred "Will" Brown, born April 7, 1938, in Cosby, TN, passed away on Monday morning, January 2, 2012, in Mt. Pleasant, MI after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
He was a sheetrock finisher for 45 years and taught many his trade. Additionally he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golf. He was a loving father.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Sam and Grace Brown, brother Orville Brown, and infant sisters Martha and Nellie.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Bruce Borkovich of Mt. Pleasant, MI and son and daughter-in-law Joe and Gwen Brown of Sevierville. Other survivors include granddaughters Arielle Borkovich of Mt. Pleasant, MI; Amy Drew and Shelby Brown of Sevierville; sister and brother-in-law Janette and George Singleton of Cosby; sister and brother-in-law Margie and Robert Dunn of Swainsboro, GA; sister-in-law Bea Brown of Cosby; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Curtis Phillips of Dandridge; sister and brother-in-law Bobbi Jean and Mike Mullaney of Dandridge; brother Jimmy Brown of Knoxville; and two step-grandchildren Bryson Hicks and Whitney Hicks, both of Sevierville.
A special thanks to the staff at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant, MI for
taking such great care of our father.
Cremation will take place with a memorial service and burial in the Brown Family Cemetery at a later date.
