(March 19, 1959 - August 5, 2012) Debbie Jean Stewart, age 53, of Hyattsville, Maryland was called home suddenly to be with her heavenly family Sunday, August 5, 2012. Ms. Stewart was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Stewart and Joyce Stewart Mayes of Newport; nephew Chad Green of Nashville, TN. Survivors include but not limited to; son, Trevor Stewart and companion Ashley Olodey of Morristown; daughter, Natalia Stewart of Newport; mother Delia Stewart of Newport; sister, Janie Brown (William) of Hyattsville, MD; brothers, Roby Stewart of Newport, Tony and Rebekah Stewart of Clarksville, TN and Steve Stewart of Newport; grandchildren, Kailixx Stewart, of Newport, and Kashus Stewart of Morristown; nephews, Deonta Robinson, Joshua and Logan Stewart all of Newport; nieces, Chiannda Stewart and Joniece Mayes both of Newport, Whitney Stewart of Oxin Hill, MD, and Beth Stewart of Arlington, VA; aunt Mamie Elliott of Newport, and a very special aunt, Anna Cofield (Henry) of Suitland, MD; a very well loved uncle and lifetime father figure, Charles E. Stewart of Newport; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also special friends, Freddy Matthiea, Lenny and Eleanor; Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rosie Cuberson officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Monday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
