BEELER, LYDIA L. GIMMELL, - age 96, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at Hillcrest North. She retired from Standard Knitting Mill, was a member of the Mother's Class at Westside Baptist Church where she attended the past 20 years, and was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was born on February 5th, 1915 to the late Fred and Freida Gimmell. She is also preceded in death by sons; Robert and Albert Beeler, Jr., son-in-law; Frank Templin, Sr., sisters; Minnie Bell, Bessie Hope, Mickey Roller, Ann Reardon, and brothers; J.W. and Clifford Settle. She is survived by daughters; Kathleen Templin, Shirley (Bob) Patterson, son; David (Zenita) Beeler of Powder Springs, GA, daughter-in-laws; Kitty (Arnold) Beeler Foster and Pat Beeler, sister; Marie Parris, brother; Claude Settle of Hartwell, GA, 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. A Special thank you to the staff of Hillcrest North, 3rd Floor for all their loving care and compassion. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Beeler officiating. Online register book at highlandmemorialparks.com.
