Anna Deane Ownby Levi, 92, of Cleveland, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in a Cleveland hospital. A native of Sevier County, she has been a resident of Cleveland for the past 70 years and was of the Baptist faith.She was the wife of the late, Robert Earl Levi and was the daughter of the late, Robert C. and Emma Ownby and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clell Ownby, Carl Ownby, Ora Ownby and Clyde Ownby. Survivors include her son, David E. Levi, Ringgold, Ga.; three grandchildren, Melissa Rebecca Levi, David Russell Levi and Jem Patrice Levi, all of Chattanooga; sister, Dora Ownby Samples of Cleveland, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Price officiating. Interment will be in Hilcrest Memory Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bradley Rehab and Health Care Center.The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.Please share your thoughts and memories online at mem.com.
