WATSON, ERSA L. (SHULTS) - age 80, of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville. She was born in Sevier County and was a member of the Oldhams Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: son, Ted Watson; parents, John Levator and Martha (Campbell) Shults; and sister, Nina Ruth Shular.
Survivors: husband, Oscar N. Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Rosie Watson of Seymour; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry D. Reagan and Judy K. and Michael McMahan, all of Sevierville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Stella Shults, Carl and Eunive Shults, Bobby and Lucille Shults, all of Sevierville; brother-in-law, Woodrow Shular of Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Carter, Dr. Melvin Faulkner and Dr. William Cope officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Saturday in Middle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
