COOK , RICHARD CLINTON - 74, 1708 Jackson Terrace, Johnson City, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at the Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness. Mr. Cook was a native of Weakley County, Tenn. and lived in Knoxville for 21 years before moving to Johnson City in 1970. He was the son of the late Willie and Clara McGuire Cook . Mr. Cook was retired from Pet Dairies Products Inc. and Land-O-Sun Dairies Inc. as director of engineering after 35 years of service. He received his B.S. degree in Dairy Manufacturing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1954. Mr. Cook was a member of Inskip Baptist Church, Knoxville. He was a US Army, World War II Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lois S. Cook of the home; son, Rodney W. Cook ; and daughter-in-law, Shirley A. Cook , both of Powell; four step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at 2:30 p.m. from the East Chapel of the Appalachian Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E.
