CLABOUGH, JR., Melvin E., age 77 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at Morning View Village. He was a member of Grace Memorial Church, was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Navy, was retired from ALCOA after 36 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin E., Sr. and Martha Jane Ledford Clabough; sisters, Gladys Kanish and Dorothy Weeks; brother, Fred Clabough.
Survivors include: wife, Mearl F. Holder Clabough of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Faye and Raymond Anderson and Phyllis Kaye and Larry Grant all of Maryville; grandsons, Sean Anderson, Jeffery Grant; granddaughter, Jennifer Grant; sisters, Virginia Wichman of Clearwater, FL and Betty Jane (Hope) Belton of St. Augustine, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sherwood Mausoleum for a graveside service with Rev. Earnest Reeves officiating.
