LINDSAY , JR., LUKE STORM - age 80, of Knoxville, died 8:11 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2002, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church. Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by father, Luke Storm Lindsay , Sr., and mother, Mary Jane Chitwood Lindsay six brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Pearl S. Lindsay daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ron Sweeney of Florida, Melinda and Ron Morgan of Knoxville daughters, Erin Fuller and Lori Lindsay , both of Knoxville son and daughter-in-law, Luke Storm, III and Carrie Lindsay of Knoxville son, Dale Thomas Lindsay of Florida six grandchildren and one great grandchild brother and sister-in-law, Delmar and Evelyn Lindsay sisters-in-law, Juanite, Elvarez and Margaret Lindsay , all of Knoxville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at West Lonsdale Baptist Church, Rev. Bruce Robinson will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to New Gray Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Friday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers will be Robert Eubanks, Don Byrd, Bill Fair, Paul Johnson, Ken Ford, Jim Jones, and Jim Harper. Memorials may be made to West Lonsdale Baptist Church Building Fund, 2720 Dayton Street, Knoxville, TN 37921. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at West Lonsdale Baptist Church.
