ALLISON, MICHAEL JAMES - age 23, of Maryville, passed away 1:45 a.m. Sunday, September 17, 2000 at U.T. Hospital. He was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and formerly a member of Memorial Baptist Church until he was 13 years of age, then went to Piney Grove Baptist Church until he was 16 years old. He graduated from Heritage High School. He was employed by Lee's Chicken and Owner/Operator of Rainbow Lawn and Landscaping. Michael's philosophy in life was THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE and THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH. Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Hubert and Helen Braden; great-uncle, Hoyt Ray Lovinggood. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Carol Braden Noce and (Kenny); father and step-mother, Jack Allison and Linda; brother, Gregory Scott Allison; sister, Jennifer Allison; step-brothers, Jason Freeman and Joey Noce; step-sister, Angie Noce; grandparents, Charles and Myrtle Braden, George (Bud) and Virginia Allison; great-grandmother, Mary Joe Lovingood Russell; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Michael Burchfield, Bob and Diana Braden; special cousin, Kathy Braden; several other family and friends; special friends, Shane and Patrick Sauls, Jeremy Carrigan, Nick and Doug Lewis, Erick Hawkins, Tom and KimberlySims, Ben Waters and Laura Monroe Householder. Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2000 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Joe White, Rev. John Estes, Rev. Bill Hart and Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2000 at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary. The family requests that all flowers be live outside plants for the service.
