She was preceded in death by her husband, James Holsomback; children, Douglas Edward Ward and Nancy Jane Ward; parents, Andy and Daisy Lawson Ridings; and sister, Geraldine Buchanan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and John Underwood of Maryville; grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Bizzle of Murfreesboro, and Peyton Underwood of Maryville; sisters, Bobbie Brown of Maryville, Elizabeth and Winfred Whitehead of Rutledge, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Marla Ridings of Albuquerque, N.M.; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Sheryl Reno and Deniece and David. Special thanks to Virginia Juern and Nana’s boy Eric Hill. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Delbert Rains officiating. The family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville.
