Evert Amber Wilson, age 79, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2004 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Irene Wilson, parents, William and Maude Wilson, brothers, Lawrence, James, Oscar Elmer, and Boyd Wilson, sisters, Mildred Hannon, Verla Whaley, and Edith Caton Mussard.
Evert was a member of Oldhams Creek Baptist Church, a retired Carpenter and an Army WWII Veteran, member of D.A.V., prisoner of war and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Sons and daughter-in-law: Sam Wilson, Don Wilson and wife Edna, Bobby Wilson, and Doug Wilson
Daughters and son-in-law: Peggy Stansberry, Betty Parton and husband J.R., and Linda Wilson
Former son-in-law: Tommy Stansberry
2 Grandsons: Bryan Stansberry and wife Jill, and Jeff Stansberry

Funeral Service 7 PM Friday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. W.A. Galyon and Elder Shirley Henry officiating. Interment 10 AM Saturday in Middle Creek Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
