Inez "Molly" Davis Dobbins, 82, of Gray Court, widow of Marcus Reid Dobbins, died Sept. 18, 2001.
Born in Rutherford County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Millard Columbus and Sarah Halford Davis.
Mrs. Dobbins is survived by a son, David Davis, and daughter-in-law, Hattie, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren, David Andrew Davis and Julie Davis Couch; and two great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Reid.
Mrs. Dobbins was a homemaker and a member of Owings Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, Elder, Moderator for Presbyterian Women and long-time historian. She was presented an Honorary Life Membership by the Women of the Church. She was a member of Owings Community Club.
Visitation: Today, Sept. 21, 2001, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
Funeral service: Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at 11 a.m., at Owings Presbyterian Church, Gray Court, with the Rev. Billie Brightwell officiating.
Interment service: Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Bald Mountain Cemetery in Bat Cave, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
