Minnis C. Wiley, 72, of Mooresville, Indiana, formerly of Cocke County, died March 18.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. In 1995 he retired as a millwright for Diamond Chain of Indianapolis, Indiana. At the time of his death, he was an auctioneer for the Rockford Sale Barn. He was a 48-year member of the Masonic Lodge of Indianapolis.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bee and Ethel Burke Wiley; sister, Mable Hurley; and a brother, Clifford Wiley.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Wiley; and sons, David and Edward Wiley and Robert Lee Turner, all of Indiana. He is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Williams; and brothers, Herbert, Howard and Ray Wiley, all of Cocke County.
The funeral was held March 22 at Carlisle Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, Indiana.
Carlisle Funeral Home was in charge.
