Sollie Price, 90, of Pittsgrove Township, New Jersey, died Friday morning at South Jersey Hospital System, Elmer, New Jersey. He had been in failing health for the past 10 years. Mr. Price was born at Clear Creek and was the son of the late Turner and Dovie Freeman Price. He had been a lifetime resident of the Elmer, New Jersey, and Bybee, Tennessee, areas. He was a mechanic by trade and prior to retiring in 1963, he had been employed with Delbert Robinson Tractor Sales in Elmer, New Jersey, for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Freshour Price; two brothers, Nelson Price and Leonard Price; and a sister, Nettie Evans. Survivors include: five sons, Tommy Price, Franklinville, New Jersey, Barnel Price, Franklinville, New Jersey, Harold Price, Monroeville, New Jersey, Carl Price, Gibbstown, New Jersey, and Jerry Price, Pittsgrove Township, New Jersey; two daughters, Loretta Woody, Crystal River, Florida, and Barbara Brown, Vineland, New Jersey; one sister, Louise Brooks, Elk Township, New Jersey; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Rev. Paul D. Sprouse will conduct funeral services from the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Bridgeton, New Jersey, on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery, Centerton, New Jersey.
